More Baby Boomers are enjoying their favorite music at BoomersLife.org, home of Boomer music, people, issues, health and all the rest. It brings good things to life for regular Baby Boomers, for the famous among us, and for those who just enjoy having fun. You are welcome to post your own Boomer experiences, like reader Bill Hadden did:
“It was a special place in time, to be growing up with the music. Close your eyes and you’re catapulted back in time. Days riding along the coast road on my 650cc Triumph motorcycle, bike boots, white t shirt, and a pretty girl on back. Rock on.”
We’re also the home of Boomers Rock Again — the surprisingly popular combination of Baby Boomers, our favorite music, and growing a little younger each day. You can discover more about it at the Boomers Rock Again link above. This is where it’s at!
Your host on this ongoing adventure is Boomerguy, the nom-de-web of Sanford Holst, who humbly serves as editor, maitre d’, and chief bottle washer. Born in the first year of the Baby Boom, he published a magazine in the early 1970s for young working people in Los Angeles — and got invited almost everywhere. Was in the Troubadour to hear Linda Ronstadt sing before her first #1 hit came out. Reviewed the movie of Woodstock at the studio before it was released. And got a gazillion free albums — which in those days were still on vinyl records. Met lots of good people and had lots of fun.
Boomers Life is your home away from home. Feel free to comment, share a memory, or pass along something cool from today. And remember — a smile a day keeps the doctor away, but lets a few others get closer.
Keep on rocking!
